Are there soccer camps for girls in Ecuador?
Yes. The Girls Ecuador Pro Residency by Soccer Scouting Pros runs in Ibarra, Ecuador, in January–February, June–July and August–September 2027 for girls ages 14–21, with 2-week and 4-week options.
How can an American girl with Ecuadorian parents play for Ecuador’s national team?
She needs Ecuadorian citizenship (cédula and passport), which children of an Ecuadorian parent can usually obtain, and she needs to be seen by people who recommend players to the Ecuadorian Football Federation. In the Girls Ecuador Pro Residency, players train with women’s pro clubs that can recommend them for the U15, U17 and U19 national teams. The federation makes the final decision.
Can girls from the U.S. train with professional women’s clubs in Ecuador?
Yes. In the Girls Ecuador Pro Residency, players ages 14–21 join the daily training of women’s professional clubs in Ibarra, including Deportivo Ibarra and Leonas FC, for 2 or 4 weeks.
